The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recently published research entitled, "Deaths of U.S. Citizens Undergoing Cosmetic Surgery - Dominican Republic, 2009-2022", detaining a disturbing trend of medical travelers dying following surgery in this popular destination. It is a "must read" for anyone involved in health traveler, both providers and patients."
