Elizabeth was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law and a Masters degree in International Public Health from Boston University.

• Workd with interdisciplinary team to design all inclusive cardiac and orthopedic packages
• Create a “Second Opinion and Telemedicine” program for international patients
• Collaborate with the Chamber of Commerce, airlines, hotels and hospital to promote the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area for tourism and executive checkups.
Her prior career experience in the travel and airline industry contributes to her expertise in the field of medical tourism.
Margaret is the founder of Health Links International, a Dallas based firm established in 2006, providing consulting services for the medical tourism industry and international health infrastructure projects. International health travel projects have included consultations with hospitals and health care providers in Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Jordan, Turkey, and the Dominican Republic.
Ms. Ball speaks fluent Spanish, is a graduate of Austin College and studied at the University of Valencia, Spain.

Irving has delivered presentations at numerous medical tourism conferences including both World Medical Tourism and Global Health Conferences. He is the editor of Medical Tourism Marketing , the first of its kind book designed to improve the quality and effectiveness of medical tourism marketing.
Irving is the market research and marketing advisor to Medical Tourism Training, Inc. and works collaboratively with the company to provide complimentary training and consulting services to ensure that the needs of our clients are being met.

Dr. Kleefield has extensive experience in the design and implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) management programs for hospitals and health care systems. Prior to joining Harvard Medical International, she was Director of Care Improvement at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a 720-bed Harvard affiliated teaching hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Kleefield has held positions in professional staff development and quality management as well as several teaching positions at Harvard University, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Medical School.
Sharon has taught, consulted, and trained physicians, hospital administrators, and other medical professionals around the world including Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Greece, India, Italy, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and the UAE. In addition to numerous peer-reviewed journal publications, she obtained her PhD in Medical Ethics from Boston University. Dr. Kleefield’s education, experience, and substantial professional accomplishments, she is clearly a global leader in quality management, patient safety, risk management, and related sectors.

While in those positions, she was responsible for the international strategic alliances with governments, healthcare institutions, and insurers while overseeing multi-million dollar budgets. Her knowledge and experience of developing and managing international patient departments is based on her successes at these leading medical institutions.
Pam is one of the experts who developed the “Welcoming the World” course for our company utilizing her knowledge and experience in establishing and improving international patient services. Her training and consulting expertise are available now through Medical Tourism Training, Inc.
Fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, Ms. Frank earned an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in the US. She continues to be a leader in the international health sector.

Ms. Heistad’s clients include leading US hospitals including Massachusetts General Hospital, Spaulding Medical Center, and Tufts Medical Center in addition to private, nonprofit, government, healthcare, and educational organizations around the world.
Kari has provided custom-designed training programs for the American Embassy, the European Conference on Culture and the Media, as well as the Irish Management Institute.
Based on her extensive knowledge and understanding of health care, cultural diversity, and training, Kari is developing an on-line and on-site course for Medical Tourism Training’s clients. Her consulting services are available to meet the individual needs of individuals and organizations in the medical tourism sector.
Kari was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from Bates College in Maine as well as a Master’s degree in International Administration from the School for International Training in Vermont. She speaks Norwegian fluently and is a beginner in Spanish, French, and Greek.

With years of experience working throughout the Middle East, Ms. Saleh has developed and implemented an operational structure to manage international client referrals integrating patient intake, screening, financial authorization, appointment scheduling, concierge services, and billing and collection.
Using her knowledge and experience in establishing and improving international patient services in the US and globally, Vian is one of the experts who developed the “Welcoming the World” course for our company. Her expertise is available to our clients via her training and consulting services.
Ms. Saleh is fluent in English and Arabic, skills she brings to her consulting practice and the services she provides to Medical Tourism Training.

Deborah is also a regular presenter at international conferences including INC Magazine, Linkage, Project Management Institute and Pegasus Communications. She teaches team leadership at Babson College and facilitates a forum for women Executive Directors through The Commonwealth Institute. The case study of her work with the MathWorks appeared in Linkage’s Best Practices in Leadership Development 2000.
Her academic credentials include an advanced degree in Organizational Development from Antioch College, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, training at the National Training Labs and an advanced coaching certificate from the Kantor Family Institute in Cambridge, MA.

In 2013, she completed an EMBA at Hult International Business School in London.
Maria has worked in many countries and was surprised to learn patients had long waiting lists and extreme out-of-pocket costs to get critical surgeries performed–even in areas with good medical care. It was at that point she decided to focus her career on connecting patients with the best surgical providers in other countries that could perform services sooner and less expensively. She founded Trip4Care, a company that offers medical travelers access to high quality providers while ensuring that the patient experience is tailored to the patient’s needs from initial contact to post-discharge follow up.
Maria’s experience in travel and mastery of several languages enables her to communicate with prospective patients and negotiate with the world’s best hospitals and medical facilities to provide the best possible care for her clients.
Ms. Maldonado-Pareja joins the Medical Tourism Training team as a trainer as well as consultant to our clients. She is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English as well as conversational in French. Maria is married with two children and her family lives in Minneapolis and spends time in Portugal and Spain.

Mr. Calhoun’s clients include Walmart, Wells Fargo, Motorola, and his favorite client, Medical Tourism Training. He is a graduate of Malone University in Canton, Ohio. Stephen has four young children and a lovely wife, all of whom enjoy being active and outdoors.
